The manager I spoke with over the phone was very thoughtful about giving me an alternative to checkin online if I needed it since I was coming from a distance. The managers and staff were very courteous and gracious about walking "us" (there were about 6 different parties checking in and unloading when I got there) through elevator protocols and actually helping me unload since all the carts were initially taken, and then freeing up a cart for me. They made the process as easy as possible in spite of my being tired and I really appreciated their efforts though I am sure I didn't show it.

I was looking for a cheap storage alternative to storing in my home. We have very few items fitting in a 5x5 unit with more than enough space for other things. Your company was one of the first I saw, so I went with your smallest option, the aforementioned 5x5 unit, which was more than enough room (after being asked multiple times to take a larger unit) . I believe it was around $50 which was good for the few things we were storing. Upon completing sign up, I was then told about all the other fees, service fee, lock fee, insurance fee, among others. When all was said an done, I ended up paying over $80 for a $50 storage unit, and now that storage unit is now increased by $15 per month due to your "insurance" that is mandatory. It's baffling to me that the cost of your mandatory insurance is about 1/3 the cost of the unit itself. But either way, I was moving, needed a quick alternative, and I had already arrived at your facility with all of my belongings to be stored. Now that I am all settled in, I will be moving my storage needs to another company that doesn't seem so dead set on taking every penny that they can get.

Renting was easy and pain free. The guy that helped me was nice and courteous (I think he was the asst manager). Little bummed that the rental price that is posted online did not include insurance that is mandatory so you are actually paying more than what the online rental fee is.

The Public Storage on Ohio in Plano/Frisco TX is very clean, well organized, the quality of the facility is great. The best part is the kind and hospitable staff. We have been using storage facilities for over 25 years and this is one of the nicest. Only thing that could improve it would be higher ceilings.

I have reserved storage units since 2004 at the Public Storage location at the Mastin location in Overland Park, Kansas and I would never go anywhere else! Terry and Brenda on site mgmnt team when I first rented to now just Terry have treated me with the utmost courtesy and greatest customer service. They are most accomodating and I never have to worry about the safety of my personal possessions being stored.

This is our second year with college summer storage at this facility. It's climate controlled units were great in 2017, so we returned in 2018. The price is a bit higher, but can be minimized by reserving online & using the 1st month rent for $1. The contract & insurance process are all automated on tablets. The codes to get in, motion sensor lights & padlock systems keep things safe. But, best of all, the staff, especially Jack, are really helpful & make it easy to contract a space & bring things in. We'll be back in 2019.

When renting a storage unit you shouldn't have to purchase a unique lock to that storage facility that you are not able to use any other place. And you state that your homeowner's insurance covers your unit and are still forced to buy their insurance.

I have only signed the papers and rented the unit a couple of days ago and will not move my things till the weekend, but I have been very impressed by what I have seen so far. I called several locations on Monday and was not impressed by the vague and evasive answers about pricing, availability and policies I got (some did not call back at all). When I called, I got a live person, we set an appointment for the next morning after getting a price range and size unit I considered reasonable. Happy to say the meeting went well no bait and switch and everything offered over the phone was what I got. The person I worked with was prepared, helpful and professional.

Wonderfully nice people! Terry helped me confirm my online appointment and Tina was the one who showed me my unit and explained all the details. Both were very nice! I spent more time interacting with Tina and she is very sweet, funny, and charming. She sure knew what she was talking about through the entire process and made me feel confident I would be entering a lease with experienced professionals who knew everything about the units.
